GIS | E911 Rural Addressing

The GIS Division of the Planning & Community Development department develops and maintains Grant County’s Geographic Information System (GIS).

All of the Division’s digital data are available to the public for nominal fees. The GIS Division also administers the Road/Street Naming and Addressing Ordinances which includes assigning physical addresses in the unincorporated portions of Grant County.

The Rural Addressing Division issues all physical addresses in the unincorporated areas of Grant County. Rural Addressing works together with all entities involved to compile an Enhanced E911 database that will meet the necessary standards for accurate and usable emergency response development. The E911 Rural Addressing Division produces maps, assigns rural emergency 911 physical addresses associated with a named road, and supports a range of government organizations and county offices
