Grant County Road Department Mission Statement
The Mission of the Grant County Road Department strives to provide quality work to the residents by keeping county roads in the best state possible. Our goal is to provide safe and well maintained roads for all residents within the County.

- Patching of roadways throughout Grant County.
SP-1- 18 – SP
- Local Government Road Fund – Cooperative Agreement. With this funding, Grant County Road Department will be grading roadway with a 2% crown and adding a 6” cap of compacted base course with drainage and shoulder improvements. Work will include the following County roads: Joseph Blane Road, and Sacaton Road. Work will also include installing a concrete low water crossing with footings and drainage improvements across: Brushy Mountain Road Crossing #1 and Brushy Mountain Road Crossing #2. Project is scheduled to begin in May 2018. Estimated Completion Date – December 2018.

COMPLETED PROJECTS
Loma Verde Road – Loma Verde, Acorn Dr, Ventana Dr, and Corto Dr have just recently been added to the County Maintained Roads. These roads are being brought up to County standards and will be maintained from here on out. Work includes installation of culverts, stop signs, and major road grading. Estimated Completion Date – March 2017
Rosedale Road – Rosedale Road underwent major reconstruction including resurfacing existing roadway and improving storm water drainage facilities that will abate roads, drainage and flooding hazards including dangerous blind spots for pedestrians and drivers at various turns. Project will include any related work and revisions necessary to complete. Estimated Completion Date – April 2017
North Hurley Road – Complete reconstruction of sewer line and road. Estimated Completion Date – May 2017
CAP-1-17 – CAP is a Local Government Road Fund – County Arterial Program. With this funding, Grant County Road Department will be patching roadways and laying single penetration chip seal with drainage and shoulder improvements and road striping. Work will include the following County roads: South Bear Creek Rd, Bell Street, Cemetery Lane, Coleman Drive, Cook Street, Hood Street, Iron Bridge Road, Iron Drive, McKinley Street, Mobile Drive, Mountain View Road, North Pheasant Drive, Oakwood Avenue, Olympus Street, Peterson Drive, Pheasant Drive, Pike Street, Robson Street, Six Shooter Road, and Wendy Road. Project is scheduled to being in May 2017. Estimated Completion Date – December 2017.

SB-77-17 – SB is a Local Government Road Fund – School Bus Route. With this funding, Grant County Road Department will be patching roadways and laying single penetration chip seal with drainage and shoulder improvements and striping. Work will include the following County road: Bill Evans Rd. Project is scheduled to begin May 2017. Estimated Completion Date – December 2017.

Project is scheduled to being in May 2018. Estimated Completion Date – December 2018.
SB-77-17 – SB is a Local Government Road Fund – School Bus Route. With this funding, Grant County Road Department will be patching roadways and laying single penetration chip seal with drainage and shoulder improvements and striping. Work will include the following County roads: Little Walnut Road and Airport Mesa Road. Project is scheduled to begin May 2018. Estimated Completion Date – December 2018.
