Location changed – The Special Meeting on Monday, August 30th that was posted for the Grant County Administration building has been moved to the Grant County Veterans Memorial Business & Conference Center located at 3031 US-180, Silver City, NM 88061.
As previously advertised, this meeting will include a Public Hearing and Discussion Regarding Ordinance No. O-21-04; entitled: An Ordinance Establishing Local Cannabis Zoning Regulations; and a vote on the proposed Ordinance.
Participation in the Public Hearing will be accepted both in person and virtually via Zoom. To participate through zoom, individuals must register no later than one hour prior to the meeting at the link below: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYode6grTkvGNfLzjtBL7_VuBc317OD-s01
This meeting will not be streamed live, but it will be available later as a recording on the County’s website at www.grantcountynm.gov

GRANT COUNTY, NEW MEXICO
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners, constituting the governing body of the Grant County, New Mexico will consider the adoption of an ordinance (the “Ordinance”) entitled: GRANT COUNTY CANNABIS LOCAL CONTROL ORDINANCE NO. 0-21-04 The purpose of the ordinance is to adopt time place and manner rules concerning recreational cannabis in Grant County.
The Ordinance will be considered at a special meeting of the Commission on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Commissioners’ Chambers in the Grant County Administration Building, 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico, in the County, being the regular meeting place of the Board.
A copy of the Ordinance in draft form is on file and available for inspection during normal business hours at the office of the County Clerk at the Grant County Administration Building, 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico, New Mexico.
