About Misty A. Trujillo
I am a long-time resident of Silver City, NM who is married to Terry Trujillo and have two beautiful kids; Kamryan Trujillo and Andrew Trujillo. I have worked in the Assessor's Office since 2006. In my previous position I oversaw all of the appraisers in the office. Working my way up to the top, I started out as a Data Entry Level, then Appraiser, Chief Appraiser, appointed to Deputy Assessor and now voted in as the Assessor.
I love working in the Assessor's Office, working with and helping out the public is my strongest point. I have learned so much in these past years but still learn something new every day. The staff in the office is my second family, we work so well together and continue to push each other to be better.
I have served this community for many years as part of the Assessor's Office and I feel confident in upholding this position. As the Assessor, I strive to be fair and equitable to all. Before making decisions, I put myself in the shoes of my constituents. I am always open to input, new, and better ideas.
