In February of 2023, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security launched the Ready Campaign. Ready is a National public service campaign designed to educate and empower the American people to prepare for, respond to, and mitigate emergencies and disasters. The goal of the campaign is to promote preparedness through public involvement. The ready.gov website was established to guide and assist the public in planning and preparedness for all types of emergencies and disasters.
